I have been wanting to add an upholstered headboard to my bed for some time now. I have heard that they're relatively easy to make and I would LOVE to have one monogrammed. However, I already have a monogrammed pillow on my bed - what self-respecting prep doesn't - so do you think having that AND a monogram on the headboard is too much? Please also take into account that I have roughly six other monogrammed objects in my room.
Now, the other question is.....what shape? Here are some options for you to choose from..... Obviously, if I go with something tufted, the monogram is not an option.

i like the 4th picture. the sort of camel back would be a good spot for the monogram!
Il ike the second from the bottom as far as style. I think a monogram would look great but I would probably save my monogrammed pillow for a guest bedroom if you have one.
I made an upholstered headboard and it was definitely easy - all you need is plywood, batting, material and a staple gun. I made one similar to the headboard in picture 1 because it's just the simplest to do! You won't regret it! Good luck!
I almost had my upholstered headboard mongrammed! However, I choose not too seeing as I someday hope to use it in a guest bedroom or child's room when I get married. I do not think it would be too much at all to have your initials on your pillows and headboard. I have three monogrammed pillows on my bed and was going to do it!
