Yay or Nay
I don't know if you are familiar with Switchflops but here's the gist: you buy one pair of flip flops in a neutral color but you can change the straps to compliment your outfit. Now the creator of Switchflops has expanded her line to include ballet flats. I tried on a pair yesterday and now I need your honest preppy opinion. First of all, let me say that they are unbelievably comfortable - like wearing a slipper. The way the flat works is that you buy additional pieces for the top of the shoe so you can switch out the "bling" - it easily snaps on and off. So, below are the two colors I am interested in with their original "bling" (I hate to use that word but I don't know how else to describe them!)

I purchased the black pair that comes with the flower as seen in the picture. They are so soft and very cute. I don't think I will be purchasing any "bling" for mine and I'm sure Lindsay will be coming out with more add-ons depending on the success of the ballet shoes.

I pink puffy paint heart them!! I had no idea they made flats- did they fit true to size? I *need* a pair!
they look super cute! but i think my mom did something like that when i was younger...her heels and flats were always bought plain and she'd buy the shoe ''bling'' clip ons. so, it's not an entirely new idea. one that jus disappeared for a while. ;)
