What's happening?!

No, J. Crew - I will not purchase sequin harem pants from you for $650.

Nor will I buy this odd and ugly pin for $88....

You know what's even more disturbing about all this? The harem pants are SOLD OUT online. Who is buying these things? And for $650?! Aren't we in a recession? Would I spend $650 on a Burberry trench? Yes. Two pairs of Tod's driving moccasins? Of course. A David Yurman bracelet? You betcha! But a pair of sequin harem pants? No sir! What has happened to J. Crew? I want my preppy super store back!!!

And finally....
No, Pottery Barn, I will not buy this cardinal duvet cover. Not even for the holidays.

Oh JCrew and I broke up a while ago. LLBean and Lands End and Talbots are my new Jcrew!

I'm with the Preppy Pink Crocodile... I broke up with JCrew a while back. But you're right - who the heck is buying those AWFUL pants!?

J. Crew does not hold up at all! My pink cardigan that I wore twice looks so bad that I am sending it right back!

J. Crew is awful now! If I see someone actually wearing those pants I might break down and cry.

I've missed you! The cardinal duvet cover...yikes! And the pants? oy!!! The only logical explanation for being sold out is that hopefully they only had 2 pairs? :)

Um...you know I work at RL so I try not to be shocked by anything I see, but YIKES, J CREW!

Oh man, yeah, J.Crew had some great basics this season, but nothing that was new seemed realistic or reasonable... or making any sense. Then again, I am grateful that when I need a new sweater or cardi in a fresh color, I can depend on them to provide!

I found a top I love at JCrew (yesterday) but overall there is not much I would wear. These pants are awful! I think Serena wore a similar pair on gossip girl. I'm hoping celebrities are the ones buying them!

JCrew has gone to modern and less classy, it super disappointing. The only good thing they have left is the basics. Vineyard vines has def replaced JCrew as my favorite store.
