Serious problem.....

So, I have encountered a problem. I have had my black Tory Burch Revas since maybe June of last year and I just noticed that they have a tear in them! The leather on the interior part of the heel has a sizable rip in it. I am kind of irritated by this, especially considering how much I paid for these shoes. They should last longer than 8 months!!! So, my question is - what is my course of action? Should I contact Tory Burch? I purchased the shoes at a local Bloomingdale's and I do not think I still have my receipt. Help! What should I do???

I put a very small tear in mine not too long ago, and I took them to a shoe repair place. It was only $15.00ish to get them fixed...

of course, I had bought mine on eBay so I didn't think contacting the company was the right thing to do...

I am sure they would be helpful if you decided to call them!

I am obsessed with Revas, but they are honestly not very well made. Here in Dallas we have an AMAZING shoe repair shop that can fix anything and everything so all my friends and I take them there. I am sure there is some sort of cobler near you that you could look into as I am not so sure TB will be of much help...

I would see how much it is to get it fixed by a shoe repair place first then if it's more expensive than you're willing to pay, call up the company and give them a piece of your mind!!

I would first take them to Bloomies and see what they have to say. Good luck.

I agree with Andie, first go to Bloomies. Did you pay with a credit card? If so they can verify you bought them there without a receipt.
If you are not successful there- head to a cobbler.

A similar thing happened to me; I bought my boyfriend a pair of Ray Bans, and within six months, a small chip appeared on the top outside edge of one of the lenses. He swears he didn't drop them or anything. I don't know who to contact, the store (I bought them in a shop in Annapolis, where we no longer live) or the manufacturer. Tell us how everything works out!

I know certain stores will take stuff back no matter what- Macy's is (or was....I hope they still are) that way. I would try taking them back to Bloomies. Be honest- you bought them there in June and they have not held up well. If you paid by credit card they should be able to look up your info. If the first person says no, politely ask for a manager. Be super sweet because a little sugar often goes a long way. If they still refuse, contact the TB peeps and also let them know that you attempted to return them to the XYZ store but that they said to contact TB directly. If that still doesn;t work, blog about it! Too many preps are loyal to those shoes. Good luck!
