Spring Wedding Outfit Options
So, I have several weddings coming up and these are two outfits I am thinking about wearing. Is the purple dress too dark for an evening wedding in the late Spring? Could I also wear the blue dress to a baby shower? Is it worth it to have two versions of the same dress? I do love the way the purple one looks on me - I have yet to order the blue. What are your thoughts loyal readers? I value your opinion!

Good work! Yes and Yes! Adorable choices and for an evening wedding, I don't think dark is much of an issue as long as you don't wear black... but I also don't think anyone lives by those rules anymore - in Bride Wars, for example, the two girls wore black dresses to the wedding in the beginning... I still think it's gloomy but Purple - I say YES! (it's my wedding color even!)
I love both of those dresses! I'm a big fan of buying multiples when you happen upon the perfect dress/sweater/skirt/pants/etc.

That's a tough decision if you've got to pick just one. I don't think there's any problem with having the same dress in different colors if you're going to be able to use both multiple times.

I say both dresses-classic lines. You will have them for many more weddings. Purple is so fresh.
